I could never have dreamed up a better pair of photographers than you guys – you made our wedding feel like not only the most special day of our lives but also the greatest party we’ve ever been too! You were able to effortlessly capture so many special moments in such a fun and different way. As I was looking through our 800 plus images I never thought it would be so difficult to pick our favorites. I made a favorites folder and then quickly realized a 500-600 image album probably wasn’t going to work! You produced the perfect blend of romantic and funny and we loved it all. It was such a relief to have total confidence in you two and to know that we could just relax and have an amazing night because you wouldn’t miss a moment…and you didn’t. Thank you both so much for everything and being such incredible guys to work with.

When we first started planning our wedding, we decided that our number one priority was photography. We knew that long after our day was over these pictures are what would last and we wanted them to capture every aspect of our wedding! We started looking at photographers and portfolios and realized very quickly that the photography business was filled with hidden fees, especially in the wedding field. The first time we looked at the Dorn Brother’s pictures we were immediately impressed, but afraid to see their prices. After speaking with them we were pleasantly surprised to hear their prices were competitive with others’ and their packages included so much more! We were getting two photographers, online viewing and ordering for our guests, and full rights to our pictures on a DVD, not to mention the talent of Nate and Travis. To say the least, we booked them quickly because we knew our date would be snatched up. We believe that we could not have made a better decision! Nate and Travis were very professional and always on top of things leading up to our wedding. Once our wedding day came we felt like we had two more friends in our wedding party. They were relaxed, funny, easy going, and taking A LOT of pictures. We hired more than just photographers, we hired professionals that understand that wedding photography is much more than posing people and snapping shots. It is about making the people they are around feel comfortable, bringing out and capturing personalities, and creating works of art that will last a lifetime. When Dana and Greg began planning their wedding, they knew the photography would be the lasting element of their special day. They wanted a photographer that had a journalistic approach to capture the magical moments but would also participate in the fun. We knew you would be perfect after our first meeting with you last fall.
A few months later, when Seth and Lara began planning their wedding, they wanted their day to be simple yet elegant. The location of their wedding provided a beautiful and natural canvas for a photographer that could “see” the beauty. I was happy to suggest they meet with you and was even happier when they agreed that you would be perfect for their wedding also. So began the anticipation!!
You captured the essence of my children’s weddings from the moment you arrived. Your attention to detail is amazing, yet you can see the whole picture. You forever captured the poignant moments during the ceremonies with your creative eyes and wonderful angles. Thank you both so much for making Ashley and Jose’s wedding day such a success. You were both great to work with and we appreciated your company, your sense of humor and your attention to detail. We will never know how you managed to take over 900 pictures with us hardly ever seeing either of you. It was as though you quietly blended into the scenery and performed your magic. We wanted to have a fun wedding, and choosing the right photographers had a lot to do with the preparation. We had been to too many weddings where the photographers were very rude and bossy, forcing smiles and poses. That is not what we wanted at all. We had known Nate and Travis through mutual friends, and I had heard they did wedding photography. Actually, Mary and I were eating in a restaurant one day and I picked up a local high-end Atlanta magazine that contained a great article about Dorn Brothers Weddings. I went home checked out their website to see their photograph samples and testimonials—and we were sold! Every time we had been around Nate and Travis, they had kept us laughing, and that was one of the biggest selling points in one of the testimonials I read on their website. It pretty much said that they capture natural smiles in their pictures because they try their best to keep a lighthearted approach to wedding photography. Mary and I had made our choice.
We met with them a few times before the wedding, and it only made us more excited. You could tell that they were excited too—not just because they knew us and we all got along great, but because they actually loved doing this. Mary and I felt at ease knowing that we were in good hands with the photography part of the wedding planning.
On the evening of our wedding, the Dorn Brothers definitely did not disappoint us. They were at the church early taking pictures in the back rooms before the ceremony, keeping us all smiling—-which was good for both of us, because it was a stressful day. After the ceremony, they swept me and Mary away to take some pictures and then we joined the rest of the family and wedding party for the post-ceremony photos. This was the part that most people complain about with other photographers, but Nate and Travis made this very painless, keeping everyone laughing and naturally smiling.
Our ceremony was a blast. Every time I turned around, Nate and Travis were capturing great shots of our guests at the tables socializing, dancing on the dance floor—they were even taking some shots of the band performing on stage. You could tell by the great time everyone was having that the pictures were going to turn out great. Mary and I had many people come up to us throughout the night and comment on how nice they thought the photographers were—-friends, family members—even members of the event staff at the Piedmont Room at Park Tavern commented on how professional and easy to work with they were. I was actually proud to tell people that they are great photographers……and they are friends of ours!
When we got the pictures back from them, we were more than happy with the results. Actually, they were better that we could ever hoped! We will have these pictures forever, to remind us of our special day, and we will always have Nate and Travis, the Dorn Brothers, to thanks for that!

Tonight Only, The Fox Theater Presents...
“When we decided to do an old Hollywood Glamour theme for my daughter’s wedding at the Fox Theatre, we knew we needed photographers that would bring their own creative energy to this once in a lifetime event. A friend recommended the Dorn Brothers and with their background in film we thought it would be a perfect fit. It absolutely was!! From our first meeting we felt they “got it”. We told them we didn’t want typical wedding photos but more of a journalistic approach. I love pictures that tell the story and that’s what we got. We have had so many compliments on our photos.
Working with them was great. They even caught the vision of the event and came dressed as old school press photographers which added to the feel we were going for. I would and already have enthusiastically recommended them.

As a mother of the bride, there are certain shots that you know are a must. Nate and Travis told me just to let them know, whatever I wanted.
